Howard County Farmers’ Market has a new Market Manager! If you were at the Market last season, you probably met Elias “Julio” Fuentes, who worked throughout the 2018 season performing day-to-day oversight during market hours along with Pearl Snell, Liz Coleman, and Sylvia Graham, NDOG Coordinator Gerry Wenta and Kidz Klub Coordinator Sherry Wenta. This year Julio will be taking over as the Market’s General Manager after Debra Bolding’s resignation was accepted by the Market’s Overseers Committee this month. By the way, Julio has also recently taken over as Librarian for the Tollette Branch Library, so he will be very busy this year! Be sure to drop by the Market anytime during Market hours to meet Julio and our other volunteers, offer any suggestions or inquire about activities at the Market and plans for the season!
